Chaye Alexander presents Live on Boyd Plaza: The Soul Jazz Experience

Spend the afternoon with sultry soul and jazz songstress and Apollo Amateur Night Champion Brittany Turnipseed, backed by Rod Foster & Company. This impressive band is made up of bassist Rod Foster, keyboardist Antonio McKie, drummer Roderick Johnson, and guitarist Jonathan Knott, all known for their vast musical repertoires and crowd-pleasing performances. Inspired by the contemporary works in 30 Americans, this concert sends you on a wonderful journey with the songs of Miles Davis, Anita Baker, Sarah Vaughan, Nancy Wilson, Lauryn Hill, Etta James, Chaka Khan, Jill Scott, and much more. Presented and hosted by Chaye Alexander, creative producer, former broadcast talent, and owner of the popular performance venue Chayz Lounge. Food from BUDS Mobile Cafe and The Dessert Bar Boutique Bakery and Catering, plus beer and wine available for purchase.

Registration required as seating is limited. Museum admission included. Table for four: $100 / $80 for members. Individual tickets: $25 / $20 for members. Join today!
