Artful Design: Art and Design Workshop for Educators

This one-day workshop for educators explores the basics of design thinking with both theoretical and practical applications. Led by guest instructor Alana Vest, participants complete design challenges and learn how to write and implement similar projects in the classroom. Vest has served as a master teacher for a Design Lab Teacher Institute as well as the Creativity Coaches Institute, part of the Arts in Basic Curriculum Project. The session features firsthand exploration of objects both in the CMA Collection and featured exhibition Lee Alexander McQueen & Ann Ray: Rendez-Vous. 

To apply for a spot, register at the link provided. Applicants will be notified whether or not they have received a spot by October 30. All materials are provided, and each participant receives a digital toolkit and $200 stipend. Participants earn five hours of professional renewal credit. Free with registration.
