Virtual Art Class: Botanical Primer

Saturday, March 20 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. | Zoom

This class has been cancelled.

Whether you’re an experienced artist or are just starting out, this is an opportunity to create intimate botanical artworks that reflect the rich natural environment that surrounds you. Students participate in a number of short studies to strengthen their perception of line, form, structure, and texture, and synthesize techniques to produce one larger piece. No previous drawing experience is required, just a curiosity about exploring natural forms through sensory observation and mark-making. Taught by UofSC instructor and artist Sara Schneckloth.

$100 / $80 for members. Join today!

This interactive online class is presented via Zoom and best experienced on a laptop or computer monitor with a large screen and webcam. Please download the free Zoom app onto your computer prior to the workshop here.

Class price includes a materials packet sent to US participants via Priority Mail, including all paper and materials you'll need for the workshop (and more). Please register by Thursday, March 11 to allow time for shipping.
