Give 8/28 with the FAAAC

August 28 – 31

For the third year, the Friends of African American Art & Culture (FAAAC) celebrates Black Philanthropy Month and Give 8/28, a national day of giving focused specifically on supporting Black-led and Black-benefiting organizations. The FAAAC is seeking to raise $5,000 through its online giving campaign.

Your donation to the FAAAC during the Give 8/28 campaign supports year-round programming, including events that highlight The Art of Elizabeth Catlett: From the Collection of Samella Lewis, on view October 15, 2022, through January 22, 2023. The FAAAC attracts a diverse audience, often first-time visitors to the CMA, with vibrant programming that highlights the contributions of African American artists to the American cultural landscape.
