Gallery Tour: Cornerstones of the Collection

Friday
December 7, 2018
1:00 pm-2:00 pm

Join us for a guided tour of our newly reorganized collection! Most museums organize art by era or location, but the CMA's Collection has been reimagined around common themes like "Masterpieces" and "Art and Identity." This unique arrangement of pieces allows us to compare ancient and contemporary art to see how certain ideas endure throughout human history.

About Cornerstones of the Collection

From corner to corner, see key works in the collection from east to west and from ancient to modern. This tour includes gems by artists like Botticelli, Monet, and Warhol, along with the first piece ever purchased by the CMA.

Free.
