Family Fun Night featuring NiA Co.'s 25th Anniversary Celebration

For the return of free Family Fun Night, the CMA celebrates longtime partner NiA Company and their 25^th anniversary! This dynamic Columbia-based theatre company's formula of inventive staging and lively audience participation combine for big fun for all-age audiences. For this performance, NiA Co. brings back another family original, Lonetta Thompson’s Jump at the Sun. Performed 10 years ago at the CMA, the play explores the historical events of the Great Migration and the Harlem Renaissance along with key artistic figures like legends Zora Neale Hurston and Jacob Lawrence. Plus, enjoy family-friendly DJ sets from DJ B Folks, art activities, design challenges, scavenger hunts through the galleries, lobby, and Boyd Plaza, and more! Food and drink available for purchase provided by Dae's Delicious Dogs and The Dessert Bar Boutique Bakery and Catering.
