Chaye Alexander presents Live at Boyd Plaza: The Rhythmic Jazz Experience

Sunday
April 25, 2021
3:00 pm-5:00 pm

Spring is in the air, and Boyd Plaza is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor concert filled with your favorite tunes jazzed up and expertly delivered by The SC SoulJazz Collective. This impressive new group is made up of singer Beth Inabinett, saxophonist Mike G, guitarist Drew Medlin, bassist Rod Foster, keyboardist Antonio McKie, and drummer Roderick Johnson, all known for their vast musical repertoires and crowd-pleasing performances. At this concert, embark on a wonderful journey with the songs of Junior Walker & The All Stars, George Benson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Lionel Richie, Herbie Hancock, Journey, Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Elton John, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner and much more. Presented and hosted by Chaye Alexander, creative producer, former broadcast talent, and owner of the popular performance venue Chayz Lounge.

Food from Queens Kitchen, plus beer, and wine available for purchase. Face coverings required while not seated and while inside the museum. Entry into the CMA galleries included with your ticket. Due to the popularity of the Escher exhibition, there may be a wait to enter the galleries.
