Sunday
October 29, 2023
4:00 pm-6:00 pm

Fall brings the return of this popular outdoor jazz concert series! The season premiere features Charlotte-based contemporary jazz sextet Conversation Piece. With Willie Walker on bass guitar and vocals, Carl Ratliff on saxophone and flute, Darryl Payton on trombone, Charlton Taylor on keyboards, Derek McCoy on guitar, and Christian Whitley on drums, Conversation Piece has one goal in mind: to ensure a good time is had by all. Come ready to enjoy their renditions of music by The Crusaders, Kirk Whalum, Gregory Porter, Beyoncé, Roy Hargrove, Stevie Wonder, Kem, and so much more. Presented and hosted by Chaye Alexander, creative producer, former broadcast talent, and owner of the popular performance venue Chayz Lounge. Food, beer, and wine available for purchase.

Registration required as seating is limited. Museum admission included. Table for four: $80 / $64 for members. Individual tickets: Pay what you wish. Some seating is available, but we encourage you to bring your own chair. No outside food or drinks allowed. We’ve got you covered! Join Today!
