Learn the basics of character design in this one-day workshop. Get inspired sketching inside and outside the museum as you learn time-tested techniques to make your drawings come to life. Instructor: Criss Mitchell. Capacities are limited to allow for physical distancing in the CMA studios; face coverings are required.

Criss Mitchell is a freelance illustrator who has worked on Marvel comics such as Power Man and Iron Fist as well as card illustrations with Upper Deck. Mitchell currently teaches visual arts at the Midlands Arts Conservatory.
