Summer Camps: Ages 7 - 9 Summer Camps

A Brush with Creativity

Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23 | 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. 

Ages 7 – 9
This camp explores paints from oil and acrylic to watercolor and beyond. Campers learn about different styles of painting using the CMA collection for inspiration. Instructor: Alia Schwartz. Capacities are limited to allow for physical distancing in the CMA studios; face coverings are required.

$175 / $140 for Solo members and above.

Alia Schwartz received her BFA in fine art and art education from UofSC, where she was both a Magellan Research and Mary Carter Grant Scholar, and has a Master of Education with a major in teaching and learning as an arts educator. Schwartz has taught art in Richland School District One for six years and currently teaches visual arts at the Midlands Arts Conservatory.
