Baker & Baker presents: Jazz with Noel Freidline
Saturday, October 5 | Doors 6:30 p.m. | Concert 7:00 p.m.
Noel Freidline returns to the CMA with Columbia’s own Pete Neighbour, one of the most highly acclaimed jazz clarinetists in the world. He performs extensively all over the globe, bringing his own inimitable style of swing era jazz to every stage he graces. He performs so much globally that he almost never appears in his hometown. Meet us in the Loft for an intimate club atmosphere featuring Neighbour and music director and pianist Freidline and his trio, along with special guests Jon Metzger on vibraphone and Andy Page on guitar.
The Baker & Baker series is devoted to highlighting diverse musical performances, ranging from Baroque music with harpsichords to avant-garde music played with nontraditional materials, and showcases musical excellence in its many forms. Includes admission to CMA collection galleries. Sponsored by: Nancy and Richard Layman; Barbara B. Boyd; Howard Gilman Foundation; Susan Thorpe and John Baynes; John and Bebe Barton; Becky and Earl Ellis; Bonnie and Harry Goldberg; and Amy Sander Montanez, D.Min.; and Mary Baskin-Waters & Samuel C. Waters.
