Punk Ikebana with Louesa Roebuck

In her critically acclaimed books Punk Ikebana and Foraged Flora, artist, author, and floral designer Louesa Roebuck explains classic rules of ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, and demonstrates how to bend those rules in her distinctive style.

Roebuck joins us for Art Blossoms this year to give a demonstration and dialogue followed by a book signing (with books for sale!) on Saturday, and again on Sunday to teach an intimate class on mono prints.

Roebuck has created flora installations from foraged and gleaned materials for high-end clients such as Michelle Obama and Vivienne Westwood. Her work has been featured in a number of magazines and media including Vogue, Martha Stewart Living, and the Los Angeles Times.
