The Club Théâtre de l’Alliance Française de Columbia is back for its tenth French-language production, a trio of late-medieval farces: two short domestic spats gone comically awry, The Farce of the Washtub and The Farce of the Fart, together with the most famous legal satire involving sheep ever written, The Farce of Maître Pathelin. All are complemented by live acoustic guitar renderings of French medieval tunes. Performed (and sung) in French prose and verse, with English synopses (and lyrics) provided. Cash bar.
