Tour of Tea: Every Sip Tells a Story

Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with the CMA and Fit Columbia! Head to Boyd Plaza for a community event celebrating the rich traditions of AAPI cultures through an exploration of the history, flavors, and cultural significance of tea.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural Tour of Tea, this year’s program features teas and paired snacks from AAPI countries — Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, India, and more — as well as new additions including vocalists Yuko Kimora and Shiyang (CoCo) Li, Kongfu Fan Dance from the Chinese Youth Association of Columbia, dancers from the Filipino American Association of Greater Columbia, and a matcha tea demonstration from Francis Lee of Gorilla Boost Co.
Free. Food for purchase from Nibl Bakery and Gimbop Station.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held the following Wednesday, May 14.
