The Sense of It All: A Sensory Design Experience

Taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing — our senses are how we experience design and what designers consider as they approach their craft. Drop by the Tapp’s Building (1644 Main Street) throughout the afternoon to join CMA affinity group the Columbia Design League for a leisurely exploration of the ways design impacts everyday life through sensory experience. Attendees are encouraged to taste, touch, smell, see, and hear their way through a variety of spaces and activities featuring Andrew Gajadhar of The Gaj Kitchen; The Roastery; Olive Candle & Soap Co.; Tijon Perfumerie; Invention Unlimited; Kris Pilcher, award-winning mixed-reality artist; Adam Clay of Clay Vintage Audio; SoulBeing Sound Massage; and Gittens Health and Wellness.
