Noel Freidline & Maria Howell

Noel Freidline Presents It Takes Two: A Jazz Celebration of the Great Duets

Friday, October 24 | 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. | Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Sold Out! Pianist Noel Freidline and vocalist Maria Howell return to the stage with a brand-new show celebrating some of the most unforgettable musical pairings of all time. The dynamic duo is joined by powerhouse vocalist Ray Greene — Columbia resident and former member of Tower of Power, currently touring with Carlos Santana — who brings an extraordinary vocal range and soulful energy to this one-of-a-kind evening. Enjoy timeless hits like "Baby Come to Me" (Patti Austin and James Ingram), "It Takes Two" (Marvin Gaye and Kim Weston), and "Next Time I Fall in Love" (Peter Cetera and Amy Grant), alongside unexpected gems like "Under Pressure" (Queen and David Bowie), "Easy Lover" (Phil Collins and Philip Bailey), and a completely reinvented version of the classic “Islands in the Stream” (Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton). This show spans genres, decades, and moods, all with Freidline and Howell’s signature style, inventive arrangements, and irresistible chemistry.

Individual table seats: $50 / $40 for members.
Four-person tables (includes one bottle of wine): $200 / $160 for members.

Individual seats and four-person tables are sold out.

Music at the CMA is supported by funds from the Baker & Baker Foundation, Nancy and Richard Layman, Barbara Boyd, and Sam and Mary Baskin-Waters.
