Thursday, November 11
6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
Zoom
The Columbia Museum of Art joins Richland Library in their ongoing series Let’s Talk Race to facilitate discussions that tackle a variety of topics through the lens of race, equity, and inclusion. Every conversation is different and offers community members the opportunity to take part in this honest and courageous dialogue. This month, Let’s Talk Race features discussion around works from the exhibition 30 Americans, a dynamic showcase of contemporary Black art offering an intersectional series of varying perspectives that has helped fuel the drive to fill historical gaps in American museum collections.
This event will be held virtually via Zoom. Free with registration. The event link will be sent to the email address associated with your library card one day prior to the event.
This program has been made possible in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities: Democracy demands wisdom.
