Instructor: Jane Schwantes
Jane Schwantes believes that making art gives children joy. Those joyful, productive experiences seep into their lives and transfer to other areas. She has observed this in many years teaching in Richland One, Lexington, Charleston, and West Virginia. A nationally certified visual arts teacher, most recently, she worked as the visual arts teacher at Logan Elementary School while also managing their visual and performing arts program. Currently, she works as a potter making porcelain tableware. She strives for pieces that are botanically inspired, lovely to behold, and a joy to use. She is represented by two galleries in the Midlands.
