A Weekend of Art and Flowers

The CMA will once again be home to four dazzling days of botanical beauty for this limited-time exhibition fundraiser featuring floral interpretations of beloved works of art.
For its fourth year, Art Blossoms brings back beloved events like tastings, art classes, and tours.

Art Blossoms is a unique exhibition that also serves as a fundraiser for the Columbia Museum of Art. Every ticket you purchase for the exhibition and its related events supports the CMA's award-winning arts education and programming and helps to ensure a thriving creative community in the Midlands.

General admission: $20 / free for members

Canceled: Punk Ikebana with Louesa Roebuck

Due to unforeseen circumstances, these two events have been canceled. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to explore the many other fantastic Art Blossoms events available.

In her critically acclaimed books Punk Ikebana and Foraged Flora, artist, author, and floral designer Louesa Roebuck explains classic rules of ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement, and demonstrates how to bend those rules in her distinctive style.

Roebuck joins us for Art Blossoms this year to give a demonstration and dialogue followed by a book signing (with books for sale!) on Saturday, and again on Sunday to teach an intimate class on mono prints.

Art Classes

Cultivate your creativity with an Art Blossoms art class. Learn to design your own floral creations in a vessel or in your garden, or even make your own paper with plants.
