Concert: Richard Buckner
09/09/10
7:00 p.m. / Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
“Fresh and evocative, poignant and real. Documenting the modern age wrapped up in the frustrations and sympathies of a wanderer. " -Austin Chronicle in Austin, Texas

American folk artist and critically acclaimed singer songwriter of New York, Richard Buckner, performs a variety of songs, including selections from his best-selling album, Meadow. Buckner’s swirling melodies and signature drawl create a sound that is both haunting and soothing. South Carolina native Mac Leaphart opens the concert for Buckner. Since his return to the South in 2007, Leaphart has been performing over 200 shows a year and his 2008 independent release, “Line, Rope, Etc.” was chosen as one of the best albums of the year by the Charleston City Paper. Cash bar.
Cost: $9 / $7 for members.
