Volunteer Opportunities

The Columbia Museum of Art uses volunteers on an as needed basis to help promote the Museum's mission to inspire, educate and enrich lives through art. Click here to download a volunteer application.

Museum Shop
Volunteers help customers with their selections, help pack and unpack merchandise and gift-wrap during the holiday season. For more information, call 803.343.2159.

Education Department
The education department is responsible for developing programs and educational activities. Studio volunteers assist with a variety of programs, including children's hands-on art classes. You can also join the Docent Corps. - these trained volunteers lead public and group tours through the galleries.
