Help shape the art collection
Many donors derive great pleasure from investing in the acquisition or preservation of the art for the Museum's collection as these gifts endure for generations to come.
The Museum is committed to further build its international art collection to tell the story of many cultures and time periods. In addition to filling gaps in the collection that would best tell this story, preserving and conserving great artworks is an expensive endeavor. There are many needs and donors can support the Museum's effort to create a well-rounded, world-class art museum for South Carolina in different ways:
- Make a monetary gift for preservation, conservation or framing.
- Make a monetary gift for a new art acquisition.
- Become a member of the Collectors Circle, a membership affiliate group.
- Donate art. If you have something you would like to be considered, please make an appointment with chief curator Dr. Todd Herman at 803.343.2205 or therman@columbiamuseum.org.
Thank you for considering a gift to the Museum's collection that will enrich the lives of future generations of Museum visitors!
