In partnership with the Nickelodeon Theatre, the CMA is proud to open Forever in A Day, a series celebrating and exploring the enduring adaptability of William ShakespeareÂ’s work. The film adaptations for this special series have been thoughtfully selected to exhibit a range of interpretations and stylistic embellishments. Each of the screenings will include a discussion or creative performance. For this film, USC English professor David Miller shares some of the ideas he brings to his Shakespeare courses at the University. Enjoy a light reception at the CMA while browsing the Collection for Renaissance art before a screening of Romeo + Juliet (1996) at the Nickelodeon Theatre.
